Exmoor Retreats Accommodation
Exmoor Retreats holiday accommodation. We offer a large traditional Farmhouse, two Lodges and two Barn Conversions over a twelve acre smallholding. Laying in a wooded valley, nestled on the edge of Exmoor National Park and close to the chocolate box towns of Bampton and Dulverton, with the market town of Tiverton only a short drive. All accommodation is comfortable and homely with both contemporary and traditional features, boasting all off the modern living requirements such as WiFi and Hot Tubs.
Barn Conversions
Bluebell and Primrose are new to Exmoor Retreats for 2022! Both are open plan luxury three bedroom, two bathroom holiday lets with spacious kitchen diner and living room boasting WiFi, flat screen TV, fridge freezers, stylish kitchens and dining areas with comfy sofas on the inside and hot tubs and outdoor dining. Close to Exmoor National Park and the market town of Bampton.
Exe Valley Lodges
Two high quality four bed lodge accomodation. Gas central heating, kitchen, bathroom, WiFi and TV. Garden area, BBQ and Hot Tub. Dog friendly.
Stay right in the heart of the Exe Valley near Bampton. You can choose to relax or to roam the pastures taking in breath-taking views. You can visit nearby Exmoor, or one of local cosy pubs. You have the freedom to do just as you please. Great local dog walking and rambling in forests or over the moors. Just a minute drive to the pretty town of Bampton with all local amenities.
The Farmhouse
The Farmhouse is a charming detached property which includes a stunning blend of period features with a contemporary feel. A particular feature is the spacious kitchen/family room which has an Aga, tri-fold doors opening onto a terrace both sides of the property. Three double bedrooms, one en-suite. Flat screen TVs, WiFI, BBQ, large Hot Tub and alfresco dining.
Wild Camping
You can tailor your stay to what you want, there are no pitches you choose where you place your tent, build your shelter or put your sleeping bag on the floor. Toast marshmallows on your campfire. Experience the natural habitat both during the day and the stars by night with panoramic views over the Exe Valley. Enjoy the peace and quiet or go wild with a dip in the river here. Facilities are available - these being a toilet and wash basin. But due to the current times we do encourage you to wash up at your camp. Cooking on an open fire is one of the best parts of wild camping. You can build your own camp fire we have fire baskets, kindling and logs available on site with a local butchers and deli just down the road - just let us know what you need on arrival.
