Exmoor Retreats started back in 2017, laying nestled a few miles from Exmoor close to the classic town of Bampton. There is a farmhouse for rent, two lodges and on site wild camping (summer only) for those who are more adventurous.

There is plenty to do from walking around the beautiful rustic countryside, there is a local famous fishery offering fly fishing and expert tuition, clay shooting locally in the Exe Valley and horse-riding on Exmoor.

We have also bolted on a variety of different experiences with the demand requested so whether you want to go surfing, kayaking or sailing we offer competitive individual and group bookings tailored to all your needs.

Bampton is ideally sited for road and rail links, and is at the centre of an area where there is much to do an explore. The whole centre of the town is a conservation area. This little town has a surprising range of local amenities - shops, pubs, restaurants and even a heritage centre.
